Vaquero was created in the United States by a fourth-generation ranching family rooted in Oklahoma and Texas. That background gives our work a clear starting point: the people caring for the land and livestock every day.
A connected view of ranching.
We want to build a practical foundation for holistic ranch management. To us, that means considering animals, grasslands, soil, water, and the ranch business together. Each is part of the same operation, and decisions about one can affect the others.
The app is our first step toward that purpose. Herd records, pasture observations, and grazing history can help put useful information within reach when a decision needs to be made.
Knowledge that keeps growing.
A dated record adds context to a memory. Over time, observations can help tell the story of a pasture, an animal, or a season. Our goal is to support that understanding and help ranchers build knowledge they can carry forward.
We see grassland stewardship as ongoing work, shaped by local conditions and the people responsible for the land. Software can support that work; experience and judgment remain essential.
